Public Role of the Notary and Process Flow

A notary public’s role is to prevent fraudulent document signing. A notary public will be present at the signing of important legal documents such as deeds, estates or powers-of attorney.

This guarantees that all documents are signed accurately and willingly.

A notary public is an impartial presence that verifies the identity of signers and makes sure they sign the document without any apparent intimidation or duress.

After all parties have signed the documents, the notary public will use their signature seal to confirm that the document is authentic and credible.
